Fragments of Ireland – Heritage Keepsake Gift Box

A small collection of Ireland’s land, history, and spirit.
Carry a real piece of Ireland wherever life has taken you.
This unique Irish heritage gift box contains authentic elements gathered from across the island — soil, water, stone, history and story — sent with a personal letter from Ireland herself.

Some people carry Ireland in their heart. If you can't come to Ireland she can come to you 🇮🇪

This box lets them hold a small piece of it in their hands.

Carefully gathered from across the island, Fragments of Ireland is a collection of natural and historic objects that each tell a story about the land, folklore, and people of Ireland.

Every item inside has been thoughtfully chosen to represent a different corner of the island.

Together they form a quiet but powerful connection to Ireland itself.

Inside the Box

• Soil from St Enda’s Park, Dublin
Collected from the grounds of St Enda’s Park, the former home of Pádraig Pearse, one of the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising.
This soil comes from the place where Pearse lived, taught, and helped shape the vision of an independent Ireland.

• Water of the River Shannon
Ireland’s longest and most storied river.
This small vial contains water collected from the River Shannon, known in Irish mythology as Sinann, a river deeply woven into the history and landscape of the island.

• Wild Atlantic Hag Stone
Hand gathered from the rugged shores of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, these naturally pierced stones are steeped in folklore.
In Irish tradition, hag stones are believed to offer protection and are said to allow the holder to glimpse the hidden world beyond.

• Irish Coastal Wishing Stone – County Down
Found along the shores of County Down, this stone carries a single uninterrupted line of white quartz.
In Irish folklore, such stones are known as Wishing Stones, believed to carry wishes across the sea.

• Donegal Bog Turf
A small piece of traditional Irish bog turf, cut from the peatlands of Donegal.
For generations turf fires warmed Irish homes, filling cottages with the unmistakable scent of the land itself.

• Ogham Stone Necklace – Navan Fort, Armagh
This necklace features an Ogham inscription and a stone gathered near Navan Fort (Emain Macha), the ancient ceremonial capital of Ulster and one of Ireland’s most important mythological sites.

• Vintage Irish 10 Pence Coin – 1980s
A genuine Irish 10p coin from the era of the Irish pound, featuring the salmon — a symbol deeply rooted in Irish mythology and associated with the legendary Salmon of Knowledge.

• Mythic Map of Ireland Print (A4)
Included is a beautifully illustrated A4 map of Ireland, inspired by Irish mythology and landscape, bringing together the spirit of the island in one striking piece of artwork.

•To buy these items separately in our shop is £99. The cost of the box is £65, a saving of £34.

• A beautiful letter from Ireland herself that reads as follows:

“Dear Friend,
I am told that a part of your heart belongs to me.

Perhaps it always did.

Across oceans and generations, people have carried my stories, my songs, and my memory with them. Even when far away, something of me remains — in the blood, in the voice, in the quiet pull that brings people back again and again.

Maybe someone in your family once walked my fields.

Maybe they stood along the Shannon, or looked west toward the Atlantic wind.

Maybe they left my shores long ago, carrying little with them but memory and hope.

And though time and distance have passed, a small thread of that story still reaches you.

So I wanted to send you something in return.

A small piece of myself.

Inside this box you will find fragments of the island that has shaped so many lives.

A coin that once passed through the hands and pockets of thousands of my people, carrying with it the everyday life of another time.

Water from the River Shannon, my longest river, flowing through the heart of the land since long before memory. Every river remembers the sea.

Soil from St Enda’s Park, where Pádraig Pearse once walked and dreamed of a different future for this island. From the earth of Ireland we came,
and to her story we belong.

A stone shaped by the wild Atlantic waves, where the ocean meets the edge of the world. The stones of Ireland have witnessed every generation.

A wishing stone from the shores of County Down, marked with a single white line — a quiet promise carried in the rock itself. The stones of Ireland have witnessed every generation.

A piece of turf cut from the boglands of Donegal, the same fuel that warmed cottages and hearths for generations.

And a small stone marked in Ogham, the ancient language once carved into standing stones across the land, gathered near Navan Fort in Armagh — a place of kings, myths, and old stories.

These are simple things.

Earth, water, stone, and memory.

But together they carry something greater — the spirit of a small island that has never been defined by its size, but by the strength of its people and the depth of its stories.

Wherever you are in the world, know this:

You are always welcome here.

And now, a small part of Ireland is with you.

Keep it safe.
Erin Go Bragh.

From Ireland 🇮🇪”
