An Ancient-Inspired Celtic Trinity Pendant ☘️

Bold, old-world and full of Celtic character, The Trinity Wheel is a striking circular pendant centred around one of the most recognisable symbols of Celtic knotwork — the triquetra, or Trinity Knot.

At approximately 1.25 inches across, the pendant features an antiqued bronze finish with deep, darkened detailing that brings the interwoven knotwork beautifully to life.

At its centre sits the three-pointed Trinity Knot, surrounded by a larger continuous woven design that appears to turn around it like a wheel — which gave this piece its name.

The Trinity Knot

The triquetra has been used in different contexts across centuries and today can carry different meanings depending on the wearer.

It is often associated with ideas of three becoming one — past, present and future; earth, sea and sky; life, death and rebirth — while within Christian tradition it has also become associated with the Holy Trinity.

An Unusual Mixed-Metal Finish

Rather than trying to match the antique bronze pendant with a bronze chain, we’ve deliberately paired it with a contrasting silver-tone chain.

The brighter silver against the aged bronze gives the necklace a slightly rugged, collected-over-time appearance — almost as though an old Celtic talisman has been given a new chain and brought back into everyday wear.
